Darn Kids. My son was opening the back door of my wifes Commander (which parks next to my week old KK), and of course slammed it into the KK. Nice little ding on the rear passenger door now. Ugh. Just needed to vent.

As an aside, my uconnect keeps connecting and disconnecting to my phone, so it never stays connected long enough to make a phone call. Strange. I check the compatibility list, and the model that was compatible isn't made anymore, so I got the model that replaced it (8600 discontinued, got the 8700) thinking it would work. Must be a glitch in the MyGIG uconnect firmware.

Its always the first one that hurts the worst. I haven't got that yet, and just passed 1 month (knocking on wood). I still remember the first one on my Srt though. My friends wife backed into it kinda kidde corner, took out the fender, door, and mirror.

It was bright red...she said she didn't see it.
But we all know it is bound to happen eventually. Or, you could do one of the exo- skeleton cages. :!:

Yeah, it is bound to happen, and like you said before, that first one always hurts. It's payback for what I did to my wifes first commander; Was used to driving a KJ, drove her commander to work, wasn't used to how long it was, and scraped the side on a pillar in the parking garage. Whoops. That was on the morning after we bought it. The dealer was pretty understanding, they ordered the correct touch up paint and fixed it up at no charge.
