Ok I was really bored and had some carbon fiber laying around so I made some key inserts. I think they look pretty good but then again I love everything carbon fiber

well I don't have an another key so the step by step pictures may be a little hard but the process is soo easy you may be surprised.

I start with a carbon fiber sheet of this stuff

Next I place a piece of clear scotch tape over the area on the key I want to insert.

Using a pen I draw on the tape in the shape I want the insert to be

I pull the tape off the key and place it on the carbon fiber sheet

Then just use a very sharp scissors to cut around the pattern. Wham! custom inserts. Glue and admire
