That sucks Nate. Do you think someone swerved into it due to the snow? The streets are getting pretty bad...seems like the weather is hitting us harder than what the news predicted.

The first one always hurts the most. Your pride and joy been damaged by no fault of your own. For some reason if we do it on a trail it part of the game, but when someone else inflicks the damage we feel violated. Hope things work out but if you need any help or assistance I am always available to assist. Best wishes and have a MERRYChristmas.. And if I can help don't hesitate to call.

don't feel bad....exactly 3 days after making my first payment on my KJ, a woman ran a light, and raced around me as I was turning left into a gas station. She decided to go around me through oncoming traffic in the left lane as I was turning (my driver side and I was in the left turn lane!). I caught her out of the corner of my eye and jammed the brakes. She went flying by me hit my front quarter panel and tore a nice hole in my bumper cover and busted a blinker. Her insurance covered everything to the tone of almost $1K. It totally sucked having to be in a rental (PT Cruiser to boot!!!) for two weeks after only getting to drive my new ride for about a week after picking it up off the lot....that was frustrating. I hope it all turns out nice and easy for you to fix as well. Other drivers worry me more everyday... my wife and I have been on the receiving end of accidents more than we care to mention... and one time, almost fatally close due to other drivers....everyone stay safe this winter season and always look out for the OTHER guy. ;)

Hello

Today wasn't a good day for my wife, she backed into a chain link fence and broke out the left rear tailight and the rear bumper cover. If it hadn't been -40 with the chill factor the bumper cover probably would have survived. She was pretty upset about it of course but I told her its nothing major, its an easy fix, no major body damage. We can get the cover painted first and only a couple of hours in the shop to swap out the parts....

The cost to fix it was $526 including painting the bumper cover.

Well the cost is more then what I posted, theres a support piece thats behind the bumper cover that had a piece broke off of too. I didn't check how much that was.....
