So I was kicking around the dealer today waiting for a ride to work while the CRD was getting some work done and I was checking out the KK. I do like all the little, useful storage areas in the front seat area, but what do you use that little piece of elastic on the drivers side center console for? Seems a little hokie.

If they make GPS standard, then they won't have to put a map holder in

I might have to consider upgrading to a KK if they add a diesel. My old map holder divorced me about 10 year ago. That's ok as she was getting as wrinkled as the maps.

seems you'll just have to by a HD bumper and see if the house burns down.

Maybe if I buy a custom front and rear bumper the wife will go out and I'll have to get a new one!!

I use that elastic to neatly retain my ipod cable. I keep the ipod in that square space next to the gear shift, and the wire going from the aux port to the ipod was all over the place. I ended up running the wire down behind the console and out near my right leg, so I use the elastic to hold the extra bit of cable neatly in place. It works well since there is enough extra cable to pick up the ipod and easily move it around or pass it to the passenger, and the elastic keeps everything neat and tidy.

I love it, I put my survival knife there, it keeps it there perfect for whenever I need it. I have used for other things too, it may look hookie but is quite handy IMO.
