Where are you bringing in the cold air from? If it is just an open element underhood where all the heat is then it won't be a CAI but a HAI instead. Not flaming, just mentioning it in case you have not thought about it. BTW, What does the factory air filter look like? Is it like the KJ's panel, same dimensions? Anyone have pics of the factory air box, open and closed, filter, piping, etc? |

Here you go JJ, this is what I have. Under the stock air box, there is plenty of air flow from both the front end and wheel well area. I will get you a picture later

what modifications did you have to make to the system? When you ordered the CAI did you have to order it for a Dodge Nitro...b/c I haven't seen anything listed ANYWHERE for the new KK? |

yes, It is the kit for the nirto. The only mod was to drill 2 small pilot holes for some self tappers. I had to drill the holes because I guess the nitro has some bracket off of the ecm and the liberty doesn't. Oh and you have to turn the pcv connector tube 180 to fit in to the new intake. |

The stock KK box looks awful similar to the KJ CRD box. |

^which is pure junk. Not to sure why they didnt stick with the design of the kj's air box. It was set-up great for all conditions. |
