Is anyone aware of a cable/method to have a direct connection form the MyGIG RER to an iPod (the ipod integration kit is not available for this radio). Thanks. |

wow talk about an old thread.... I was looking into hooking up my ipod to mygyg but I have not seen any direct solution (just the base "Use the aux jack") Darn libby... its taking more than it was supposed to!!! I will call my dealer tomorrow and see what the heck is going on! |

u connect is about the only way I know of to do that. I've been toying between step rails or uconnect. I do enough driving and talking to justify it, especially to get the benefit of throwing the ipod in the glove box and forgettin about it. |

I would definitely check with the dealer before getting the iPod interface if you have a myGIG. The Mopar site indicates that the myGIGs aren't compatible with the iPod adapter. It is true you need a UConnect adapter for the iPod interface (the iPod interface plugs into the UConnect). Works great on the base radio I have in my KK, but not so sure it will work with the myGIG. |
