Why is it that the Lifetime Powertrain warranty and the extended warranty you can buy are not transferable? I find myself in the unusual position of wanting to trade my 08 Liberty for a Crew Cab pickup, but have already lost a lot of value because I cant sell it with the warranty. Is there anyway around this? |

I know the powertrain warranty isn't transferable but the extended warranty is. That is if you didn't get the lifetime extended. I got the 7/100K and it's transferable just once. |

you should have thought about your vehicle choice a bit better before wanting to trade in a brand new vehicle and lose like 10 grand on it. |
