LOST JEEPS :: View topic - Lifetime "bumper to bumper" warranty

Did anyone purchase the optional lifetime B2B warranty with their new KK? The lifetime powertrain warranty would cover most of the major areas, but seeing as mine will have the nav system and the sky slider, I'm thinking bumper to bumper might be worth it, especially because I tend to keep my vehicle until it has been run into the ground.

My local dealer is quoting $2750.00 for the bumper to bumper. I know that most warranties are negotiable at the time of purchase, and I usually try to get the "super platinum unlimited 5-star warranty" thrown in for free when I buy a new vehicle. For those who have been through the buying process, can you tell me if this $2750.00 is a fixed price by Chrysler, or is it negotiable, like most other warranties?

Oh that we lowly Canadians got such a thing! I'm hoping the fact that Jeep is offering a lifetime warranty on their powertrain means they are rock solid, and hopefully I won't need to worry as the years roll by.

I have not purchased my 2008 yet, but they told me it was on sale for $4500 from standard $5500.
