Funny thing... the guy standing next to me (he came in that beige cherokee) looked at me after that buggy (formerly a toyota pickup) finished the rocks and said "I think my penis fell off"... Hah.. That buggy was SICK though..

You should go over to the area around Fallon, NV. It would be an easy weekend trip for you. They have Sand Mountain just east of there.... it's about 1,000 feet tall and maybe 2 miles long, just all sand. I took these videos over there a couple of weekends back.

I used to ride that mountain on a dirt bike back in the late 70's. It would be hard to find anyone out there on the weekends at that time. Now, any weekend with good weather, you'll find lots of buggies and other toys out there.

There is also a LOT of off-road trails, paths, and roads to drive on. However, don't do it like I did and use the crappy tires that came on the KK and have 2 flats   Get some good tires first.

Here's a couple of videos I took at Sand Mountain in early April

Can't do that but I can get there and watch...sleep in the Liberty if I have to...and take it to the road (dual purpose) :)

Buggy(s) are very Kewl and the KJ/KK can tow them

Nice "SKY ROOF" on the KK

Post subject:  Dirty Inside

Yeah I see ur KK in the background with the skyslider open. Hmm did u really keep that open? If so must be dirty inside. How is it trying to keep that clean?

yeah, it got a bit dusty that day!! cleaning the inside isn't too bad... i have an air compressor and just blow it out (after a good highway drive at 80 with all windows and top open).. cleaning/maintaining the slider tracks/mechanism, etc. is about as tedious as you can imagine.. the dust is going to kill the grease!! i didn't keep it open the entire time i was there but it was open when i noticed that dude.. i got to the course when he was 1/2 way through it so i didn't have time to close it.. unfortunately pretty much all of the dirt here is like that (insta-dust).. pretty hard to find mud as there isn't much rainfall after this time of year until novemberish...

That buggy is so overbuilt it'd be difficult to find anything "challenging" to do ... seriously.

Actually, "dirty", I completely agree... Hehe.. It really isn't a challenge at that level... It's like using cheat codes in a video game... Hehe... Good point!!!
