Towed the boat on sunday... Didn't really affect mileage more than 1 or 2 mpg. Its not a massive boat by anymeans, but maybe 1500/1700lbs, with 530lbs. of people, full tank of gas. That was way more than I expected. I am very impressed.

not too bad, the light stuff doesnt really affect it much when I towed my jet ski I didnt lose much mpg either |

That's one thing that's REALLY impressed me with the KJ. My dad said his '05 Colorado takes a 5 mpg hit with his 16' OMC 70hp bass boat...my KJ took a 5 mpg hwy hit with a 3,000ish pound trailer. I don't notice a mileage drop until I hit the half-ton mark. Glad to see the taller gear ratio and the weight increase in the KK didn't hinder its towing ability. |

awesome!! I'm gonna be taking out my 16ft Key West this weekdend for the first boat trip of the Summer and I can't wit to see how the KK does. I'll post some pics too. Thanks for sharing. |
