I like the Sirius satellite radio. My brother in law has XM with his vehicle and I was hoping my new vehicle would use XM rather than Sirius. My stereo receiver at home uses XM and I haven't activated it but I figure having 1 subscription 2 radios would be cheaper than 2 subscriptions.

Anyway, as for the programming, I like Sirius. A good lineup as far as I'm concerned although I probably will never listen to at least half of the channels, but that's okay. I have found so far though that unless I happen upon a program (e.g. Car Talk on NPR, or a comedy routine, or an old time radio show) I am flipping around almost as much as I would on a regular radio.

And commercial free isn't quite what I thought it would be. Some stations have real commercials, but most if not all will cross-promote itself or other channels. Better than commercial FM radio, but not quite the continuous music one might expect the first time they listen to subscription radio.

Also, I probably only listen to the radio maybe 2 hours a week and even then it seems like I hear repeats more than I'd expect. On the 80s channel for example, I often hear the same song twice in a week. I guess there are only so many decent songs from the 80s worth playing, but still.

Oh well, that's why I have the MyGig - I can always listen to that when I'm tired of flipping around. How my parents lived with only AM/FM radio I'll never know!
