well someone posted this awhile ago i cant remeber who but anyway i was looking at the liberator II not the red one but the silver one with rubicon across the side it looks like this http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/whats-ne ... tor-ii.jpg
so anyway it has a way better looking front bumper basically all they did is cut right below the reflectors i was reading that they put a custom skid on it besides that what else would i need to do to seal up the space left from being cut? im still trying to figure out how the fit 33s and they only used a 2 inch lift i tried contacting superlift and the guy thought i was crazy i think lol i guess people dont understand why i wanna make my liberty into an animal.

I understand you :D

how wide do you want to go with 33'' . I have measured the front suspention/wheels at least 10 times in the last few weeks. with a 2'' lift and extended bumpstops I think you coud stuff 255/70 16 bfg km2's with bumper cutting, fender trimming, pinch weld bashing. you could also fit wider tires if you want to cut the pinch weld or go with a higher lift. proper wheel backspacing will play a major role in the fitment of 33'' tires

If your patient. wait till I fit my tires in a month or 2 :D

finding the rim in the backspacing you want without being cookie cutter seems to be the difficult part :(

You can fit the 33's with a 2" lift but you are going to need a rim in the range of a +15 offset.

Notice the wheel well to wheel well rock rails, that should help fit larger tires.
Also, you can see sand through the rear wheel well, they've cut some material out of there to fit the 33's as well. I'd love to see someone braver than me do something like this soon :D

With a JBA 4" you might get some extra clearance but I imagine you'd still have to do some trimming to get no rub on compression.

I've ordered my daystar 2" and plan on throwing some 245/75/R16 mud tires under there, too chicken to go bigger and start cutting stuff.

Good luck!

I dont think anything will get in the engine but the paint on the unibody might chip and rust because of rocks trown by the tire

I've actually marked mine (with pinstriping) where the Liberator was cut at. ...trying to give myself a mental preview of what it will look like. .....So far not sure... Just need more guts

Well I have heard of using tape along the edges and using something like a roto zip or using a heat gun and a knife. either hit up tommudd or I'm sure some one will post another answer
