Saw a KK police cruiser today in Cleveland's Little Italy

Interesting bumper guard - light mount. Looks like it's for a different application, but made to 'fit' the Liberty.

not sure actually. University Circle really is a community, even though there is Case Western in the middle of it. But theres also a hospital and I think all the museums and Severance Hall and such are part of University Circle too.

I think thunderbird is correct, it looks like a crown vic push bar on the front. But what I want to know is if that's a sun roof on the top there?

I'm not sure if the lights Mr. Nick was talking about are on the bumper guard/push bar, but what caught my eye were the lights up by the headlights. I'm guessing some sort of flasher light? Normally I'd think being located so close to the headlights they would be kind of useless (they'd get lost in the glare of the headlights). But with the notoriously, um, "less than effective" KK headlights, I'm not so sure...! :lol:

I gotta say though, a KK seems like an odd choice for a cop vehicle - of any sort. They have a lot of good points and I love mine, but I couldn't imagine getting in any sort of high speed pursuit with it. Of course I'm assuming they have the stock 3.7 engine...

It sounds as though this has a fairly small jurisdiction, so in that regard, the KK seems like a good vehicle. Especially if dealing with campuses. Probably pretty easy to drive up on a curb or grassy area. That is probably the extent of what is needed.

I am also interested in the light bar by the headlights. I would really like to get some sort of supplemental low beam. I like the stock foglights, they are very nice, but I don't really like driving with them on all the time.

There is a KJ police cruiser in my parents town in Shawnee OH... I almost went and asked if I could take a picture of it with my KJ... But, I have a little too dark of window tent, and Would probably get a ticket.... Again. :roll:

Our K-9 units roll in brand new Expeditions. They bought them with all the cash the took off drug dealers.

yeah the Maryland Dept. of Trans. Police have the KJ. they are using the '05-'07's. and they have a sh*t load of lights in them, none on the inside all inside.
