Post subject:  Clearance?

Okay. I measured my clearance and the worse other than the front bumper is just passed the front bummer 7.25" that is not much.

Now I lift will raise that right? As a lift won't thou give me more clearance from the axile or gearbox or lower control arm. But bigger tires will raise those items.

So what combination of lift and tires should one try to get?

Stock tires are 28.5? How bog can we go without voiding warranty?

How much of a lift can we do without voiding warranty?

What tire can fit in a 2.5" lift? 33's

Yeah then it sounds like then with 33's I will have not much room to move and I do plan on doing some moderate 4x4'g from time to time. So with a 2" to 2.5" lift 31's will fit, right? And thats about 2.5" bigger than the stock tire so a 1.75" lift just from tires increase.

How about on a stock ride height? What size tires?

Hoping to do the JBA 4" lift in the front and the daystar 2" spacer lift in the rear. This should put me at the amount of $$ I have for a lift. I tapped the lift heights on my jeep and the difference in height using the 4" JBA in front and the 2" daystar in the rear, puts the rear about 1/2" lower then the front wheel well. Should be fine for now , better I would think then a 2" spacer in the front and rear.

they say that 2.5 inches of lift is the max, but i don't know where they measure it.. so i say F them... also the 225/75/16 is 29.3 and the 235/70/16 is 28.95

you would say that. I got the lifetime on everything warranty and don't want to void it as I did pay $1500 for it not thinking at the time a lift may void some stuff.

I have the 225/75/16. digger what do you have? those bfgoodridge are nice after your 4" lift do you plan on changing tires?

As for your warrenty you might want to check with dealerships around your area that you might use for those warrenty work and ask them and that will be your answer since it will vary greatly from dealership to dealership.I know most dealerships did not care about the lift I had on since it was advertized as a 2.5" lift(actually got 3.75"),they didn't care about the Jet chip, they didn't care about the AFE CAI,but what they said would void my warrenty was my tire size which is 265/75R16's and OEM size for me is 235/70's.

Can 235/85r16 (31.7") fit on a stock lift? How about a 2" lift?

Stock - no way

2" lift - I'd guess it would fit but probably rub bad while the suspension is compressed

Post subject:  Tire size

I run 245/75 R 16 on my jeep with the 2" spacer lift. Not really for sure if I could get anything larger under the fenders.

Now this is what I am talking about. Someone with actual information as they know for a fact. Thanks this helps out so much. I have 225/75r16 (29.3") now that came with the truck. The 245/75r16 is 30.5" that's just 0.6" of a lift (1.2" bigger overall tire than the stock) not much but its a TA not a Passenger tire. Wish the 235/85r16 would fit over all tire 31.7" (2.4 bigger stock) giving a tire lift of 1.2" Yeah thanks for the data.
