Urgent message from Rock Krawler about possible 3.5" lift kit incorrect bolt

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While installing the top fork carriage bolt on my '08 Grand Cherokee ... the bolt snapped; I notified Rock Krawler. This is what they posted on the WK Grand Cherokee Forum ... I'm reposting it here, since they said it affects the Liberty also.

To All

We at Rock Krawler Suspension Inc. got a phone call about this today (11/3/08 ) and we looked into it. We found that the company that stocks our hardware bins for us had mixed in grade 2 1/2" carriage bolts instead of grade 5's. This is a big mistake so we are putting these posts up to make consumers aware of the situation. If you have carriage bolts with the markings on the heads of 307A and HKT this is a grade 2 carriage bolt and should be replaced immediately. Please contact Rock Krawler Suspension Inc. at 518-270-9822 with any further questions. This goes for the KJ/KK/XK systems as well. Please spread the word. We have sorted through the hardware bin and have removed all the improper hardware!

Respectfully,

Rock Krawler
