| Post subject: | Back to the boards with a KK, couple of questions.. |
I had an 06 Libby Renegade and I was registered on here for a while, but now I can't access my own account so I made a new one! I just picked up a Black 08 Sport and so far I'm loving it. Interior is leaps and bounds better than my previous KJ. Anywho... I've got a few questions that I couldnt really find any good answers to after doing some searching. First- Has anyone wired up a remote start on the KK, I didn't get the Limited, and I dont want to buy the $300 upgrade from Jeep. I was just wondering if anyone had installed one of the standard best buy kits?? Next: My Jeep didn't come with that free 6 months of Sirius, and I recently noticed that the only difference in the radio is a different label on the button. Does this mean that my Jeep is NOT Siruis ready? (I assume so) The reason I ask is because now that XM and Sirius have merged I wanna get sat radio. Soo is it easier to just buy a plug and play unit and connect it through the AUX, or would I be able to get Siruis into my head unit for relatively cheap. Last: I've been lookin for a ski rack for my Jeep, and I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on one that fits the new bars up top, preferably a rack with a closed box so I can keep my skis and boards out of all the snow/ice/salt during the drive. Thanks in advance, and its good to be LOST again! |

can't help you most of the things but if you look in the manual, it will tell you how to access the id number for the sat, if your radio has sat capability |

Welcome (again?) Regarding the sirius/xm I think its going to be easier for you to get an aftermarket unit... they are cheaper, have a ton more features than the factory do and you wont spend a lot of cash on the installation thats IMO best regards (may I recommend the pioneer INNO? its a very VERY cool XM RADIO!) |
