So after the last 2 days of solid rain, I get into the Jeep and find there's a drip coming from the headliner in front of the tailgate/hatch. As soon as I drive around a corner, all of a sudden a quart of water comes pouring out of it onto my luggage cover, and down into the back! Not cool!

So I stop and get a towel I always keep in the back, and starting wiping up all the water that's still coming out! I have the hatch up, and am looking for a torn seal or busted anything... but to no avail. Well, a trip to the dealer and they have an appt for this Tuesday morning.

We'll see what happens over the next 5 days as it's supposed to rain nearly every day.

had the same problem. There is a TSB on this. The dealer will fix it under warranty for you.

I experienced the leaky headliner also. It took the dealership three attempts to finally fix (I think) the problem. Mine was an '08 KK. After the second attempt to fix it, I removed the headliner myself and soaked the Jeep with a hose. I couldn't pin-point exactly where the leak was, but I suspected the driver side roof rack bolts. They also applied some TSBs: 23-054-07 23-50-57-93 ZZ 0.4 and 23-50-57-94 ZZ 0.7 (hope that makes sense, I copied it from the work order). They ended up "removing and re-sealing the luggage rack, and filled an open seam at the rack bolts in the roof." The leak seemed to be fixed, I returned the Jeep when I bought and the lease and got my new truck. Just beware of pieces of duct tape and excessive use of silicon sealant in their efforts to fix the issue - I ran across both.

Hope that helps, and that your problem is fixed. Remember to keep everything well documented.

lol @ duct tape and sealant....

I expect to find sealant, but I can only hope they won't have to pull out the serious stuff.... like duct tape!
