I thought I would share a picture of what I did this weekend, since we had such nice weather.
After about 5 miles and 10 minutes uphill, we stopped at a clearing and stretched, took pictures, etc. When we started the KK up again it ran rough and acted like it was gonna die. I quickly turned it off, waited a minute and tried again, same deal. Tried again while giving it gas and it started running normally. No problems after that. What happened?
Did the elevation change mess up the fuel mixture? We went from 500 ft to about 2,500 feet in that time.
At the top of the forest road there were many cars parked at the trailhead;including a Prius. I'm sad that my Jeep had trouble and a Prius made it up there just fine.
Anyways, we had a good time despite the frustration that comes with a new car running badly.
Edit: and oh yeah, one of our tires sprung a leak in it, no foreign object remained in it, and it was a very slow leak, didn't notice until the TPM light came on today.
