I think you can get up to a 31" tire under there. Another option is to go with a 245/70/17 and mount it to the spare rim. Its like .03" difference from a 245/75/16 iirc.

Not sure what you mean, but stock size spares fit and come with KK with factory tow. Overs size fits but not sure how big I believe it's 245-75-16. I think Dirty KK knows how big and I'm sure it's on here too. But I never have luck with search!

I been looking

Looks like I have a steal wheel under there
My aunts KK ARCTIC was totaled so I'm grabbing 2 wheels the black ones and putting my spare and her spare on there wondering if I can put one on mine as a spare. Also any ideas anything else I can grab before they come tow it away.

Hope your aunt is feeling ok after the accident, or better yet that it was totaled because of Hurricane Sandy flooding, not a traumatic accident. I would look for factory add ons like a rear hitch, tow package components, heated mirrors, and roof rack crossbars. If she has crossbars and you don't need them, let me know. I am looking for a pair.

I have a 245/75-16 under there. I don't know if anything bigger would fit, there isn't much more room. :2cents:

The cats are a $800 part alone brand new. I'd take as much as I could, but the insurance company might not like that.

Do you think they'd notice?

The average insurance person probably wouldn't notice if 1/3 of the parts were missing as long as it isn't obvious like the seats or something.
I just wouldn't want it to come back to my aunt.

I think E2 managed to get a 235/85 16 where the spare goes. I feel like someone got bigger in there, but it had to be flat. Not sure who, if anyone though.

Anyways, as long as the rims didn't meet salt water I say take them. Anything that meets salt water, no mater how fast it was washed off is garbage.

You're right but stuff like rims should be ok. People drive on the beach every day. :2cents:

Ted, you would honestly be surprised. we just scrapped 4 rims for my uncle's F-250 the other day. They were underwater for the 2 days of water that was in the yard, and we got them out maybe 3 days later. You should have seen how bad they were already. Salt water is a killer for anything and everything...

Oh yea, no doubt. I spent a lot of time riding navy ships, that salt water is very destructive. I didn't think that it would do that much damage in such a short time though, at least not on wheels and stuff like that.

I read somewhere, someone stuffed a 32" tire under there, but I can't find it now.

can't be done. I tried and failed even lowering the tire pressure. I think 31+ may work but not 32.

There's a guy in Canada who put 33's on his along with a custom lift. He had to remove the pinch weld, wheel well liners and his shocks had internal bumpstops. All depends how motivated ya are I guess. He did a lot to make it happen including bumpers. When I get a chance I'll find a link, he had those things stuffed too. The rear control arms length had to be changed also.

Nevermind. My train of thought was completely detailed. :dizzy: For some reason I was thinking wheel well not spare, duh.
You wouldn't want to go any wider than a 245. Mine is actually lower than the hitch by almost an inch. Besides, if you're wheeling and get stuck and for some reason you need the spare, you'll have to dig a pretty big hole to get it out of there. :2cents:
