Took a month to get them, but it was worth it. Think I might do the whole grill in black.

Mark:

http://en.rschip.com/

and for our liberties specifically:

http://en.rschip.com/chiptuning/jeep/li ... -i-v6-12v/

It really isn't specific to any vehicle but their algorithm/calibration must be pretty good. I saw some dyno results on another forum and people were getting pretty good results on even naturally aspirated engines. Nothing insane but reasonable for the cost. My wife got it for a steal compared to the prices now though. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price on their site. We aren't people of money so I was glad she didn't pay what they are wanting for it now - she must've got a christmas special.

It's been like 5 days since I installed it and I can still notice the difference. It's all in the throttle response and shifting. That may be all it did but gosh do I love this little device for it. My everyday morning commute is a couple minutes quicker, haha, and after a couple days I tried to stop flooring it constantly but I can still feel the difference.

I had a random airbag dash light come on one day which alarmed me but it did go away the next time I started her back up. I don't think it was the chip itself though... I think I am starting to get some electrical irregularities on cold mornings. I wouldn't pay what they want for it right now but it is pretty dang cool otherwise.

I just feel like the Liberty isn't lugging around as much. I up-sized my tires to 245/70/16's back in late summer and lost a crap ton of power immediately. This little device brought it all back and then some. Or at least it feels like it... and I was skeptical as hell before I installed it.

Worth the wait tho. If you paint them tape the outer edge as paint with make them just out of spec.

Trashed the stock muffler. I replaced it with a magnaflow turbo xl muffler. It was my first muffler swap ever but it was nothing too complicated. I sure picked a silly night to do it on, though! I was freezing! For how long it took me I probably spent half the time running back inside to warm my hands.

I am digging the deeper tone. But it sounded a lot better before I hooked it back up to the stock resonator. So that is the next step I suppose... resonator delete and a new straight exhaust tip (I just hate how the turn down tips look). For what I am picturing there is probably going to be a hole saw taken to the rear bumper though... we will see  I'm considering a black exhaust tip to match my rims / stock accents.

Feels so good to finally be able to do more things to my Jeep though.

Same size tires I have on mine. I have the 3.73 gears, I can tell its a little slower off the line but still does good off roading. Its not worth the 300 to 500 cost to gain a little power back though. Maybe if I got a real lift and even bigger tires it would be worth it.

Thanks for the heads up! Glad I didn't have to find out the hard way.

Just ordered Spartan lockers for both diffs, will be installing them when weather is nicer, especially the front.

Were you able to get a replacement kit for the T-case side CV? I sort of remember not too long ago that they were out of stock pretty much everywhere.

Also, was it much trouble to get the O2 sensor off and out of the way so you could drop the shaft?

I think I found one at DriveShaftParts, but I haven't clicked "order" yet. I hope it's in stock!

As for the O2 sensor, I had more trouble trying to find a c-wrench that would fit it. I ended up using my 15" pipe wrench instead and that got it off in a hurry with almost no scratches to the outside.

Put a deposit on a ATH front winch bumper with prerunner bars on it. Should have it on by spring hopefully, same with the spartan lockers.

Just picked up a 12000 lb Badlands winch for $289 and the wireless remote for $40 at Harbor Freight. Should do well with the ATH winch bumper. I need a lift next, lol.

Howard, I'm loving the rack. Not too much noise as it's really low profile, however the light bar and tire make it louder. Image

Installed some ditch lights today from At The Helm. Easy install and can't wait to blind people who cut me off.
