After fixing everything my body shop sent my Jeep to a specialty shop to be professionally aligned. You can ask your body shop if they did this. If something is still wrong with the axle brackets or control arms, and they can't align it properly, then the body shop should have to take it back and your insurance should pay. I know it's a hassle, but it would be worth it in the long run.

I don't feel like doing all of that today... at all LOL.

I'm too tired from the last two days of work.

The assembly line ran at 74/hr.

Today is a day off and a day of rest!

Tomorrow!

Looks good! Do the shovel and axe increase the wind noise from the rack significantly? I might do something similar with a high lift jack someday if the wind noise isn't that bad.

Picked up an adjustable track bar for my KK lift kit at the Jeepin' By Al shop in Hatfield, PA. Wow, that blue KJ with the 6 inch lift is even more amazing in person than it is on the JBA website!

The mounting looks good, how easy is it to take the axe off?

JBA said they were working on a 6" for the KK, but it was on the back burner. if it comes out I'd like to see it.

Sorry no pics. But you guys aren't missing out on anything spectacular. Just a buddy of mine got high centered in his stock 4 door sahara, so I had to go out to where he was and help him out. Just had to haul some logs over to him to put under his tires and viola. Unstuck JK. Spacemartian saves the day!

Put a new set of Cooper AT3's on and had a leak at the water pump warrantied. The tires are surprisingly quiet, too.

Das4x4, the Cooper Discoverers look good on your Jeep. I have those (the 225/75/R16 version) and think they're good tires. They're quiet, get good gas mileage, and provide excellent traction.

Having run the Cooper ATR's for 50K, I can say that Cooper did a nice job with the update to the AT3's. I'm very happy with them. And...I got a $75 rebate to boot! Woo Hoo!

Happy :JEEPIN:

I was disappointed in my Coopers.I have about 25000 on them and less then 1/2 tread left. But my friend pointed out that that's what they are rated. 40,000 miles.
I should also add that I've never had a tire last. My roads suck, and poorly maintained. I had one set of tire on my truck that had good tread, but the rubber got hard and had NO grip. Not fun with a V10.
I'm looking at tires because of the necessity of getting to work.

Do you take care of your tires? My tires still look like new with over 40K on the stock, original tires, but I wash the Jeep a bit much and ALWAYS use Armorall on the tires which might be making a difference in the sidewalls at least.

take care of? If you mean rotate yes. I don't use products though. 1/2 of my miles are dirt roads.

That was one of my biggest fears. I came really close to hitting and smashing my rocker panel, that's when I decided that I needed sliders. I love my JCR sliders and they've held up good. I've heard Rock lizards are good too. They're all about the same price and worth every penny.

47500 miles actually on the old ATRs. I would agree you probably get less mileage out of your tires than me due to rougher road conditions. At least you can say that you use your tires for what they were intended for. I haven't done much of anything with my jeep for a long time. Been lookin' at, GULP, more fuel efficient vehicles. I took my Dad's Avalon on a 500 mile round trip this past weekend to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY and darn near did the thing on one tank of gas! Anyway, you gotta find what works for you and if the Coopers aint getting it done, then you have to go elsewhere.
