Seeing you got the Stage 2. Reviews so far?

Also, seeing your KK with a rack on top (unless I've just not noticed it from before) I am guessing you did lights on top. Maybe 2 front, 2 rear.. or 8 all around... who knows. Anyways, can't wait to see it. I like my 3 on top, but need more!

Yep... easy plug and play... If you have to take it in, it will pop out in less than 10 seconds.. I big improvement over stock

I fitted a RuffStuff Diff Cover today. These diff Covers are 3/4" thicker than the standard cover and clearance is an issue. I had to modify the Panhard Rod to gain enough clearance. I split some 40x40x4mm SHS which fitter over the Panhard Rod and cut a section out of the front in the area where contact would be made with the new cover. The whole job took about 3 hours to complete.

Finished installing my JBA 2.5" Lift by installing the rear (which was dramatically easier than the front from last Saturday)

I'm now working on info for a separate thread to post additional info on KK dimensions before and after....

Wheels -- still not certain. I'm actually putting together a comparison matrix and have done some quick CAD sketching to help evaluate options. I think I'm going to wind up with 16x8 wheels with (nearly) 5" of backspacing (or very low offset, around 10-12 mm).

Tires, I'm planning to go with the new Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs with Kevlar. If they wind up being too noisy for me, I'll just keep them mounted on a set of rims for when I'm going off-roading.

Tire sizes.....hmmm...I think 245/75R16 (30.5" nominal OD) is the sure thing. This is an increase of 1.5" in overall tire nominal OD, so another 3/4" in lift and clearance. I've worked a deal with the owner of a local Goodyear store and he is going to bring in 3 sizes of the MT/Rs, mount one of each and we'll install on the front for me to play with at their shop to assess clearance (including under compression). I'm having them bring in 265/75R16 and 235/85R16 (both about 31.6" nominal OD) in addition to the "sure thing" 245/75R16. Due to work schedule and other constraints, I probably won't have time to address my wheels and tires until early-mid June :cry:

Well, I've drilled the 3/4" hole through my roof :shock:

Mounted the rack and cleaned off the mud I got driving 20 feet through my driveway....

Now I'm going out to do the wiring. Not sure if I'll get done routing it tonight, probably be tomorrow.

I installed cross bars and a Thule basket on top. It looks pretty good, however I now need 30" or 31" tires to make it look a bit meaner...

A while back, I installed a locking gas cap. Seriously, one of the best (and always the first) mod I do these days!
