I was looking for a brake wire - and found two things:
1) a small block of three uses - just floating about

2) 3 connectors, # 1, 2 & 3
in the photo #3 is connectr to some large ! wiring conductors.
#2 looks comuter-ish - maybe for the ovberhead EVIC (which I do not have)
#1 is a silly little thing - I have no clue

Do y'all have any ideas what these are for?

The Jeep is running fine for all systems (dashboard AC, radio etc etc).

The dash has been removed once, by an auto shop, to replace the heater core.

You can also access these via the little flip out tray on the left - after removing the tray

it just occurred to me - I no longer know how to attach pics on this forum - if I ever did. I do not keep my pics on an image service, so I cannot attach URLs for them.

UPDATE:

these items can be seen if one removed the little tilt-out cubby on the far left. The fuses are inline with the largest mystery connector - so they are likely there to protect the vehicle from some temporary test condition.

I’ve had my dash out to do my heater core. When you get the pics up, I’ll have a look and see if anything looks familiar.

I assume from your profile name you are in New Zealand. Like Australia, drive on the other side & the steering wheel is on the right side. So some of your comments may not apply to those on the other side of the pond who drive on the other side & have their steering wheel on the left of their jeep.
