Ok so this is from the mythbusters testing and I guess it was based on a car running on just water.
http://www.mythbusters.com/the-myth-of- ... .html#more
But the other thing is, on the website that is advertising this kind of eludes that the Honda Clarity runs on water, it doesn't it runs on compressed hydrogen and the exhaust is water, if thats what you want to call it.
The car is available in CA as a lease only and is insainly expensive, it is not a Japan only thing. I didn't read everything, but the reality is if it really worked you would be hearing alot more of it don't you think? Instead of the govt making all the gas users go away they would talk about something like this.........
Granted it must be true cause I read it on the internet right?
