Does anyone else have a problem with with the plastic around the window switches and into the handle you close the door with. This piece seems to be painted cray over gray plastice. I can actually scratch the paint off with my nail with little effort. I am very displeased with this looks now. Passenger side is also the same way. If anyone else has had this problem i would really like to know and what you might have done to fix it. |

sounds like it didn't cook right, i'd def take it to the dealer and ask him 'what is this.. I do not drive a pontiac pheonix..' ![]() mom had a pheonix for a beat-around car when i was growin up,, the plastic interior trim basically turned to chalk |

I have the tan interior and I haven't had any issues with anything getting scratched. Take it to the dealer. |

I have the gray interior and it seems to look pretty bad around the door handles also. I also notice that some of the plastic, like around the door sills seems to be fairly soft and gets dirty very easily. The same thing with like the glove box door and the bar over the top of that. I have grandkids and the whole interior of the car seems to be black with footprints from their shoes. I was thinking about getting the brushed aluminum door sills, but they want $75 for those things and the plastic around it would just look black anyway. I need to scrub the interior of my KK. Any suggestions on the interior roof panel, or the seats? The seats seem to stain very easily. |

Yes, my 08 is seeing the same issue on both inside door handles. I have the light interior and it doesn't show too bad, but it is noticeable and annoys me that it happens. I guess it's from my wedding ring when I pull the handle to close the door. Not really much can be done about it cause my wife won't let me take the ring off ![]() Paul |

Rick, I've used the Oxyclean Stain Remover for laundry with pretty good success on both seats and headliner. Just don't spray it directly on the material. Get a clean towel saturated with it and apply that way. Then come back with a dry towel and blot it dry. Of course, as soon as you open the door when it's raining, the seats will get spots again ![]() Paul |

For the plastic stuff, I've always liked Meguire's Quik Interior detailer...not greasy, smells clean.... ![]() |

This is what mine looks like. ![]() ![]() I really do not understand why it seems to be gray paint over the top of gray plastic. I think this is really a crappy way to make a piece of a vehicle that is used so often. |

![]() holy poop on a stick!!! Did you buy your liberty new, or was it used? You're completely right, it DOES look like somebody painted over it.... I'll go home and check mine tonight, but that definitely looks wrong. Something covered under the bumper-bumper warranty maybe? |

I bought it New. Obviously driver door is the worst but the passenger is gettin there quick. All four doors seem to be the same way. I can scratch them with little effort. Like i said just my nail lightly scratching will take the (paint i guess) right off. |

MY08KK how many miles are on your KK? Just curious as to how much "use" you've got out of it. My 08 doesn't even have 1 scratch on the doors. I have a 70lb rott in there from time to time and I have a 5 year old. You need to take it back to the dealer and make a very big stink about that. There is no way it should look like that. |
