A few of us (including me) have the Stage 2 chip and have been very happy with it. The Stage 1 chip is a mild version of the Stage 2 chip so I'm sure you will see some improvement. The best thing about the chip is the improved shifting of the auto trans. You won't notice ground breaking performance but if its similar to the Stage 2 chip your auto trans will get the best of it. |

My son has the stage 2 chip in his Cherokee, and has had great results but must use premium gas. I drive between 30,000 to 35,000 miles a year a wish not to spend the extra money for the gas plus purchase new exhaust at this time. |

I run 87 in mine and as far as exhaust goes, I just have a new muffler. Think I spent 150 between parts and Mountain dew to install it |

Premium gas is recommend to get the most out of it but its not mandatory. Call JET and speak to them about the chips. I called before I bought mine and they were very helpful in answering any questions I had. |

I drove a whole 26 miles today. Highway, lunch rush. And I mean RUSH! Everybody starts at 80mph+ I decided that the JET chip is the next thing I need. Shifting sucks, power sucks. I know it's the wimpiest of things, but it should really be able to get going. So, a Stage1 for me. (have to wait for a while, though). |

I have a Stage 1 chip I used in my KK for about 5000 miles before I upgraded to the Stage 2. There is some difference in between them, but the Stage 1 definately helps with the shifting, acceleration, and minor gains in gas mileage that I saw. The stage 2 just increases on those. I still have my stage 1, and I'd be willing to sell it for a lot cheaper than you can find it online if you want one. |

they claim it won't, how ever it is just as easy to remove it before you take it in for service |

yeah i would remove it before you bring it into the shop... i mean it literally take like 5 minutes and by re-installing it you can teach your computer how you drive again cause everything basically resets on bettery negative disconnect |

New I saw the cheapest price right now to be $227 from Autoanything.com Slightly used, I'd be looking at around 175 I think. Drop me a PM if you're interested. |
