Just broke 36K miles yesterday... It hasn't exploded yet. 8)

I had this stuff fixed during the first 36K :

AC TSB
Plastic clips for platform in trunk
Squeaky drivers seat frame
squeaky passenger seat frame
broken shifter boot
missing rubber seal from rear pass side door
rear window leak
rattling airbag components
loose e-brake
busted side view mirror
probably some other stuff I would remember if I went and got all the receipts out of the glove box

They say that dealer installed accessories are covered, but no one would give me a new set of floormats.

Finally did hear back from the dealer on the clutch issue as well and Chrysler came up with a spring and it seems the whole thing is covered. It's scheduled to spend the morning in the shop next week.

I know there's at least one dude on here who'd got more miles on his KK than I do - to whoever that guy is: have you noticed any changes since rolling over into extended or no coverage?

Dang dude you have had 3 times as much warranty work done on your '08 then I ever had on my KJ and I had the bumper to bumper warranty extended 2 years past the 3 due to deployments.

Squeaky passenger seat, eh? Our '09 has a squeaky passenger seat. It never crossed my mind that we could get it fixed under warranty. I may have to look into that. I don't tolerate naggy little noises in my vehicles that aren't supposed to be there.

Yea I have a squeaky seat too. I've been meaning to take it in. It does it all the time. It seems like if I move the seatbelt (where you plug it in to) it will stop but it is really annoying.

I've got 33,500 on mine. I plan on going over it with a fine tooth comb before 36,000, then bringing to them for an oil change and any last service issues.

36,000 simply isn't enough. If I were the manufacturer, I'd be asking myself: Do we really want customers thinking our cars will only last to 36k?"

But what they're really thinking is: "Yea just make it go kaboom around 40k. That way we can make some more money off these fools."

And what about the other Mfr's, offering 100k warranties?

I have a squeak as well. Driver and passenger side. I thought for a while it was from the speakers but it is either the passenger seat or the plastic modeling on the passenger door. Last time I took it in the Service Advisor looked at me like I was a fool.

Well - now at 36,500 I just had a weird one...

Driving up USHwy 6 doing about 50mph I here the little 'ding' you get when the ecm has done something - I look down and ESP has been turned off.

The odo says 'ESP Off" and the light is on (not flashing). I check the 4x4 switch - yep 2wd... I haven't been near the ESP button (which is in a retarded location btw)... Before I can have another thought as to why it might have turned off, it turned back on again. BTSOM - I'll keep you posted.

This summer... or when my wife finds work. Will do the same one you did, along with sliders, jet2, intake and exhaust.
