my tires right now are currently a 255/45-20... i have that on a wheel thats 20x 8.5... thats the biggest tire you think i could fit without rub... and by tire size i mean height of the sidewall... note: my current setup is under the wheel and tire section... you can see photos there

Right now you are running a 29.1" x 10" which is stock hight but a little wider. The next step up is a 255/50/20 That will give you 30.1" hight and 10.2" wide. With have an 8.5" wide rim and only a +35 offset I think you will have some rub on full lock with the 255/50/20. I think your current setup of 255/45/20 is the best you can do without a lift.

I ran a 30" x 10.5" tire with just barely no rub BUT my wheels were +25 offset and only 8" wide.

You could go down in width a little a get a 245/50/20 which will give you 9.8" of width and 29.8" of height. That will give you more height but less width would could expose the lip of you wheels to some curb rash.

I think you are best to stay where you are until you get a lift if thats the direction you want to go. Why do you want to go taller?

i want to go taller cause i like the look of a full wheel well... i actually eventually want to get a 2.5" in the lift and tuck the biggest tires i can with the rims i have without rub... but again... thats the future

Your best bet at this point if you want to avoid rubbing issues it to wait for the lift. Even with a lift because your wheels only have a +35 offset and are 8.5" wide you most likely will need to run spacers to avoid rubbing issues.

You can try the small cheap wheel spacers from pep boys but you are still going to be limited because of the width of your rims and the offset. If you space them out too much then they are going to sit out far past the fender and look goofy. Your in a tough spot, you are really limited by the size and offset of your wheels. Also don't forget that the bigger you go the less gas mileage you get.

you propose a good point... we will see this is just a future plan in development... who knows it might even be a 4 inch lift instead... we'll see... you hear of any new performace parts of for the lib?
