Well as some of you know Ive been dealing with problems with my kk for about a year now. Went to 2 different dealerships around 15 times to get the problem fixed anyway i got fed up got a lawyer and tried to get at least something from the PA lemon law well i got something allright i got 2 different dealerships that denied my service yeah you heard right i cant go to either dealership and on top of that the lawyer i had jumped ship saying theres nothing that can be done with chrystler right now. great news for me so now im stuck with the jeep and to get to a dealer i gotta drive an hour away.

a friend of mine threatened to paint Lemons on his car with a huge 'serviced by' sign on the side

it managed to get him a reasonable trade in of something else

(and some of the Lemon laws don't do much better)

Dude that sucks to hear. I had to deal with a 2007 F150, it got bought back thru lemon law, have you talked to your local office of BBB, better business bureau? It was a pain but I aint driving it any more, pm me if you want some more info.

I can see using a lemon law for legitimate problems that effect driveablilty and/or safety,a sqeaky seat or leaking window is not a valid reason(in my opinion at least). There will be bad vehicles made, every car company has that problem. If you have a legitimate problem then pursue it,if not your constant nagging will just cost you money and loss of getting it serviced(even for warranty work).I'm sure your VIN has been flagged already.

tj do you consider these problems 1. a transmission that shakes everything in the jeep when shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd? how about a high pitch squeel at any speed above 50 followed by 15 min of it after getting off the highway and the jeep has stalled 5 different times at stop lights and parked at idle. to me that says there's something wrong with the vehicle and if service cant fix it the vehicle should be replaced or bought back. do i have to have the thing blow up for you to consider it a lemon? actually come to think of it if i could get away with it......................

I feel you pain...lemon 95 Plymouth Neon my wife bought right before we got married...lemon 99 VW Passat Wagon my wife had...but PA is one of the worst states for the very restrictive use of the lemon law and the dealers know it. PA Lemon law sucks for the consumers and is basically useless.

Why not take it to an independent shop to get an idea of what needs to be fixed. Get a second opinion on whats wrong and then present that to Chrysler and see what they have to say. There's got to be a Jeep specialist somewhere around you or just a good ASE certified shop.

I actually tried that ready but in order for them to check everything it would cost slot of money right Now I just can't afford that. I kinda got over this whole thing there's nothing much more I can do. In a few years I'll be able to trade it in I'll just have to deal with all the anoying things for now and drive to the othere side of the earth for warrenty service I changed my own oil now so lifetime powertrain is pretty much gone heck maybe I'll get lucky and someone will take it I'd even give them an hour head start lol jk big brother anyway what's done is done and chrystler has one more person in the world that will never buy one of there vehicals again also a person that tells otheres not to buy them.
