| Post subject: | Arm Rest |
has anyone opened the back side of the Arm rest? I was doing some wiring in there yesterday and found out that there is a little square WHITE box with the MOPAR logo on top - does anyone know what this is? I have left some wiring inside there - most likely no problem with the two heater vents for the back side floor, but i do not know what that thing does - will take a pic later. |

Do you have a 115Volt outlet there? It might be part of that. I am guessing here.. |

Completely forgot to take a picture No, I did not install anything permanent there - I will not until I'm 100% sure how to do it but it would be nice to have an cig plug in there at the least - it can easily be done. Specially if you have a small power inverter - like this:
I have just brought the cig extension cord to the back under the center cosole and hid the power inverter inside the backside of the arm rest - that is when I found this little piece I was asking about. Also, I most likely be extending more cord to have either a 110V plug or at least a cig lighter plug in the cargo area |

the vents actually work - there is a bit of heat coming to the 2 sides |

I know the Vents in the back of the Nitro center console are functional. They are connected to the Heater/ A/C system using #6 in this Pic. BTW this Pic was actually from the 08 Liberty parts list page. Here.
What is the part # on the white box you are talking about? Do you have a 2 prong outlet on the back of the console? It sounds like a power inverter for the 2 prong outlet. |
