What can I do about my driver's side window- it just STOPPED working. I tried to put it down, it dropped 2 inches and stopped and I could hear a clicking noise. I tried to put it back up, and it made the same noise and didnt move. I pushed down a last time and it sucked the window all the way down and now its stuck like that. HELP????? ANYONE?

You might be able to pull the door panel and help it back up, but it's time for a trip to the dealer

It will be covered under warranty unless you have over 36K of don't have a extender warranty . I can get you part number if you want and you can install it. Many KJ owners have done their own

I'm at like 37, almost...

Is there a trick to get the door panel off? I tend to break the tabs off when I pull panels like that. lol.

I changed 2 of these in 3 weeks in my last 04 grand cherokee, 1 at dealership, $400+, 1 I did, $170 or so and a bit of time, I ordered it thru auto zone, it was a knockoff. If Iwas you get an oem one from dealer, install yourself. As Adam Sandler's buddy says, "You can Do It!"

It it any different for the KK? #6 on there looks a bit weird...Nothing is a circle on my door, other than the speaker.lol.

EDIT: Hey, guess what...I just found out I no longer have a TORX drive set...
My wife is going to see if she can pick one up...

I'm trying to see if i can coax the window back up for the time being...
Anyone have experience with that??? worth while?

I got a jeep wide open, with not so friendly neighbors. I need to do ssomething....!!!

While waiting for the regulator, i removed the inner door trim panel and pushed up the glass and used a clamp as something to temp hold glass up, also used duct tape ( over top of door, front to back of glass) to keep glass up, it looked ghetto, but I also have a garage? Those knda help.

I have an 06 kj that has ate NINE window regs. The last time I paid a body shop 25 bucks to lock the window in the up position. I was actually thinking of getting a new liberty to escape my reg. eater. So the still use the same crappy design??

I don't slam the doors (except the other day) and am constantly reminding my wife to not slam the door, cuz the window regulators I've replaced on my Wj, was because the door was slammed. When she kills one, she'll be passing me the tools in the driveway cold or not
