I hope this is the right area for this. Just wanted to start a thread on my KK build progress and get others thoughts and advice. Moderate to serious offroading 2009 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 (KK) Current Mods: -Uhaul hitch (doubles as a rear recovery points) $124 -JBA front coilovers (2.5") $1498, (usually when I spend this much on coilovers they come with all four and are dampen adjustable) ![]() -Rear coil spring isolator (used to adjust the height on the rear stock suspension) 4 at $5 each (JBA) -All OEM skid plates, gas tank has the original lighter one. $200 for the three -Rubicon wheels (16x8, 5 backspacing) -245/75/16 GoodYear MTR tires (1k miles on 4, 5th one has never been driven) $600 wheels and tires Future Mods: -roof rack ? -front push bars or something thats not ugly, Seeing whats currently out there for the KK, or a nice steel bumber when available. or is it? -front tow hooks, I will not pay $75 per hook form the dealer though. -rock slider bars, -rear JBA shocls and springs that match the front coilovers. -JBA A arms anything Im missing? Please Let me know if you see any potential compatibility issues. thanks for stoping by. ![]() |

The factory sheet metal holding the fuel tank should hardly be considered a skid plate. What about a CB? |

A winch would be good too but you want to decide on a bumper first. If you are going to get a bumper anytime soon, you might want to hold off on the tow hooks since the bumper will probably have recovery points and it probably won't be compatible with the tow hooks. ![]() |

Question: So if I do the 2.5" lift on the the front, will level the car keeping the rear stock suspension untouced? What should I do with the rear? I have four of the rear spring isolators, about 1/4 inch thick, should I add those to the rear? all four? thanks for the help |
