Been looking for a harness to install a Pioneer Nav unit in the Liberty just not sure which one to get. Crutchfield has a PAC's C2R-CHY4 for $129 but I've found them as low as $69. I've found others that say they fit an 08 Liberty w/o factory sub for $10. Question is which one do I really need? Right now it just has the factory AM/FM/CD player in it. If anyone has installed an aftermarket Nav which harness worked for you? Thanks.

if you don't have the mygig or steering wheel controls or any other fancy factory radio parts then the cheap one should do. Its what I have in my KK with clarion head unit.

Will the cheaper harness still allow Navigation?

The nav is built into my headunit and just has an external antenna on my dash

The Pioneer unit I'm looking at is the same way so I guess I can save $100. You wouldn't happen to know what harness you used?

its been almost a year since I installed it and I really have no clue. I think I bought the mount bracket and harness together as a kit on ebay.

Bumping this back up.

Looking to get this head unit for my wife for her birthday: Clarion CX501

She doesn't have steering wheel controls and doesn't have a factory sub... From reading the replies in this thread, I don't need the special $130 PAC? This is what one of the installation notes says:
Quote:
Your vehicle has no accessory power lead at the receiver. The integration adapter provides the accessory power you will need for your new receiver.
PAC C2R-CHY4 $129.99

Ive installed a lot of car stereo stuff... so im not a novice in this department. Just haven't done a newer Chrysler vehicle so im not sure about this PAC unit..

jlemon, you ever get yours installed? Wondering what harness you bought.

So my girlfriend is looking to get me an aftermarket in dash nav/dvd player and we are both confused on this as well. Do we need the pac c2r-chy4 harness if i don't have the steering wheel controls, sub, or mygig? My stock unit is just the low end one without the uconnect enabled. Sonicelectronix.com says i still need it because my stock unit still goes through the canbus2 system, but the guy i talked to didn't sound 100% confident. This is the back of my stock head unit:

Also a dumb question: our kks have a double din size right?
