It fits great but some others want to do it also but from what mine is and what the pics I am seeing of KK hitchs they aren't the same. Some help here fellow Jeepers :JEEPIN:

Need or should say want only the MOPAR one, all others dip down too far for the way we need them on a KJ with the cut rear bumpers

I bought my MOPAR hitch from my local dealership for $180. They gave me a pretty good deal on it. Maybe check them out. When I called in they quoted me $220 so I don't know how when I went in it was different.

Ive been waiting to get into an accident with someone on HWY 98. Theyre car is either gonna eat a hitch or a winch plate.

Seriously though people need to learn how to drive around here. A while back some female slammed on her brakes while I was stopped at a light. The only thing I saw was smoke and the top of her car behind me, couldnt even see out the back window into their windshield til I started pulling away. Then two days ago Im driving to work, doing almost 60 in a 55 in the fast lane, some old couple in a Miata get over in my lane doing maybe 50 with only a few car lengths and I had to jam on my brakes very hard and lost sight of their rear bumper, so I know that was a close one also. My old car didnt have ABS so I really dont like the brakes on the KK, even though ive had it for almost a year. However, Im glad I did during that near incident.

I got backended by an 18 wheeler (stop and go situation) and the only damage was the wiring harness socket got lunched. My taillights didn't work til it was fixed...

I bought my receiver and wiring from here. Sorry I don't have a picture. Little expensive, but its OEM and was a breeze to install.

I used Mopar wire harness and you do not need to get anything activated, at least not on 08.

Cherrie 274 is correct. The dealer did not have to do anything.

I finally bought the OEM hitch. But, when I went to remove the one bolt that must come off and be replaced, I got it about half way until it became really tight again. I tried to crank it and it started to strip. Any ideas for how to get this thing off, its stuck about half way and won't go. Any help is appreciated...
