WTF?

So lately as I go to start up my KK once the engine begins to turn over, right before it fires up it feels as if my engine is shaking for about 1/2 a second. I hope its not a motor mount or suspension. Any ideas?

BTW I do feel the shake in the brake pedal and its ONLY during a cold start. its been in the high 30's - high 40's when I leave for work in the morns.

I've experienced this in other cars in the past, and also only during cold starts. I just turned the ign off and tried again. Always works fine the second time. But, this only happened maybe once or twice to each car. Still don't know what it was :?:

Yeah it does it ONCE a day when it does do it and its always from a cold start, so its hard to reproduce. I imagine its the BS alternator since I can see my headlights dim when I do something simple like lower my windows.

Could be battery too, you should take it down to a local parts shop and have them put both the battery and alternator tester on it and see. I think most places do it free..

could be the battery. i think mines about ready to take a dump too. my headlights dim a little when i hit the windows or anything electric. im goin to contribute it to the old sub a had in the back for a while and now the winch. itll be a good excuse to upgrade when the time comes at least. :mrgreen:
