I completed mounting my brake controller. Here are a few tips for the next guy

The Mopar factory 7 pin harness uses a red wire for the trailer brake. To find the end you need to connect to, pull the driver side kick panel. It secures to the body with 3 or so metal clips - just pull it out. (It also snaps at the back side to the next section of plastic trim.) Find the main wire bundle and look for a red wire with green marking tape (see pic):


I mounted a 20A breaker behind the dash and fed the +/- connections to the battery through this firewall grommet:


I used a quick splice connector to tap the brake light switch at the pedal. I checked it with a multi-meter to ensure I got the correct wire... (I think it was white with a green tracer stripe.)
