when i had mine mounted and balanced they said no. i just covered my light on the dash from the backside and forgot about it. the tpms sensors would work in the MOABs i have now but im not too worried about it.

I just had a set of Soft 8s mounted about a month ago on my 08 Sport and there were no issues with the TPSM. I know there is at least one other person on the boards who has mounted the Cragar D Windows and he didn't have any problems either...

meh idk. i had the dash apart wiring a new audio/nav headunit up so just went ahead and did that too. someone would have to try it but the light might stay on even with the fuse pulled.

the guys that did mine might have been a little retarded. also the newer tpms sensors have a soft valve stem which should work out better, dunno what year ya'll have though...

idk if there is a bulb. pretty sure anymore they all use LEDs and you would have to desolder and who knows if you would have problems afterward. there is a little tunnel the light has to shine through before it hits the face of the gauges. i found the nearest thing to me to plug the hole, which happened to be a foamy ear plug, and buttoned it all back up. you cant even tell there is anything behind it and there is no light.

What does changing the backspacing do? And would there be any rubbing? If you havet noticed, I know absolutely nothing about wheels and tires.

when keeping the same 7" rim width and changing the backspacing from 5.5" to 4" would make the wheel stick 1.5" outward. unless you are lifted you will experience some rubbing.

If you go to Discount Tires get the Unique Steel series 297's,the same wheels as the Crager soft 8.Unique Steel makes the steel Crager rims, also makes other steel rims for other companies like procrap,Black Rock, and others but you pay more for there name.I got my 16x7 Unique Steel series 297 rims from Discount Tires for $40 each way back when I still had IFS.

Is it a big deal if it rubs? how can you get it to not rub?

You will get some rub on both the front and back side of your front wheels. The rub only occurs when turning hard, basically 80%-90%. When I put my 245/70/16s on with my Cragars I got some slight rub. Ended up just grabbing a saw and cutting away some of the plastic wheel well in the front. Literally took me 5 mins. On the back side you will rub on the pinch weld. If you feel the wheel well directly behind your front tires, you will feel this piece of metal behind it. In order to get rid of this rub, you need to pound the pinch weld towards the center of the Jeep. It's really not that difficult of a job, and tons of people on the boards have done it.

Heres a comprehensive how to:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=27369&p=276094&hilit=pounding+pinch+welds#p276094

I've had my new rubber on for a while and just haven't gotten around to the pinch welds yet. They only give a little rub when you are turning into a drive way or in parking lots, so I just try to give myself extra room so I never turn the wheel to full lock. So far so good!
