Keep in mind that Rock Lizard Fabrications will be producing the KK front bumper as soon as they finish current orders.

Do we know this for sure? Because he hasnt responded here in quite sometime...but if he's nearing completing then i might wait a little while or so, but to be honest, i dont think i want to buy a product from someone who has such a lack of interest in his future customer base that he cant take two minutes out of his day for a simple update.

It's been at least a year lets be realistic they don't seem to be wanting to make them. I tried buying the plans off him he told me he had no interest in selling

Why would he give up something that he has passion for? It’s not about money, it’s about doing what he loves. I know for a fact that he turned down an offer to build products for the Mopar Skunkworks Team because he had a backlog of customer orders.

And I know for a fact that the KK bumpers are already designed. Like I said, he will put them into product as soon as he his caught up on his orders. You guys don’t have a clue how much stuff he builds and ships out to people.

The reply was for Mountain Lovers plans.

My fault.

At the time, MtnLuvr wanted armor, but he didn't want to wait, so he built his own. He has the resources to get it done and done his way. At some point in time, he might have a batch built and ready for sell. If he decides to produce them, the price will be high, and I imagine much higher than what most people here will want to pay. I personally haven't asked him recently what is plans are. I figure he will talk about it when he feels the conversation is important enough to have. In the meantime, he needs to get his doomsday home built in the Sangre de Christo mountains. 8)

He never disclosed what he did for that. In fact, he never shared much at all. He even covered up the rear of the KK in the pic he posted of it. I'm sure that he intended to produce this stuff when he started but now I'm not so sure. If you want to move the canister you'll probably have to do it yourself I think. :2cents:

Thanks Ted15

I took a really quick look at it yesterday and it looks like the EVAP canister is actually just sitting in the holder so I don't think it should be to hard to move up because there is a lot of room to move it up,d but I am going to look at it much closer tomorrow.

I will start a new forum about it once I figure out on how to move it up.

Thanks,

If you look at his website you'll see he's been off trying to catch up and get some things made ahead
He'll be back in full working mode here shortly
Look for an announcement coming
Talked to him last evening

X2 what Tom said. I also had dinner with Rock Lizard a few weeks ago. How ironic, eh? Oh, and I got to see what the RL KK front and rear bumpers look like, and the options for both. I think you guys and girls will be happy.

Been waiting for months now with no word. Just a little pic and some pricing hints would be enough. Not asking them to open the new site early. I think we've all been pretty patient and understanding.
