Would this mount to where the tow hook/s mount?

Doesn't seem overly sturdy to me.

Yes, it mounts where the right hand side (looking from the fly wheel) tow hook mount. Due to EURO specs, all vehicles must have a front and rear recovery location.

I wish recovery points were required in the US, that would be a nice extra. Not to mention, then cars wouldn't have to get towed out by their LCAs sometimes.
