I finished wiring my cb last night... but today turned on fm radio and it was static... but my sirius works fine... i didnt check am radio yet but im gunna hope that when i was fiddling under my dash i maybe tugged on a antenna wire in the back of the radio.... any other idea... im gunna check grounds again but everything worked fine til the cb install ... i did yank on some wires under the dash tho cause my sweatshirt sleeve got stuck.... hopefully thats it

usually has a screwed retainer holding the antenna in the rear of the radio, not that it isn't possible to jiggle it loose anyway

other place to check is the passenger foot panel next to the passengers right foot

whats by the passenger footpanel... i went to class and on the way there i had static... when i came out it was gone, but I didnt have the antenna hooked up when i started the truck... maybe that's the issue?... possibly that i had the antenna moving around with a flag on it previous? idk... butit seems better now... still possibly a lil off, i'll keep posted here

it's better but there is still static... tomorrow after noon i'm gunna pull out the dash and behind the radio and check all the connections etc.... see how it all works out....

Mike, the KK's antenna isn't in the floor pan any more. Basically, it goes from the radio across the dash to the driver A pillar, run up the pillar along side the SCAB then makes a b line to the rear of the KK across the roof....
