does your 08 kk burn oil? i run 5w 20 mobil1 synthetic since day one.....seems like at 3-4 thousand miles into it im a qt or 2 down.. same for my wifes 08 camry...i run 0w 20 in hers mobil1 synthetic..any thoughts? |

To thin of oil,builds up crap in the PCV valve and then makes it use more oil faster when that happens. Switch to 5w-30 oil and change PCV valve. |

5-20 is what Jeep has for our trucks. However, I'm running 0-20 in it now for gas mileage (and I'm not seeing any improvements BTW) and I have not been burning oil. My engine is 18.75K old. |
