I use this one:

http://www.walcottcb.com/cobra-75wxst-r ... 40_377_379

Works really well and it's compact so I don't have to find space to put a box (also I can quickly plug it in and take it out of the truck if I don't want it out in the open). If you're using it outside of trails it's nice because it has channel scan and can pick up people who are talking on any of the 40 channels. I've also used the Weather Radio on it when there was a snowstorm coming and it worked well.

I've got this one http://www.walcottcb.com/cobra-18wxstii ... 40_377_379 mounted to the transmission hump on the front passenger side. I liked the speaker mounted on the front panel. I also like the compactness of the cobra 75wxst remdawg has. I've been considering switching to that one because of the small size/full features offered. Mount that puppy right to the dashboard. I use a tuned Wilson Little Wil magnetic mount antenna. Sticks tight to the roof and makes a really cool whistling noise at 60+ mph. Decent reception and flexes nicely with low branches/garage door openings :-)r

I use the Uniden PRO520XL with a 3 foot firestick II. CB works great and its compact size made it easy to find a spot to mount it after all not to many options on mount locations.
