I have an 08 jeep that I bought used with the extended service plan....

Will any of these mods void this service plan?

Removing resonator

Swapping the cold air intake

Adding a jet chip

Opening the headlight housings to paint the bezel

Wheel spacers

Adding a lift ( spacer or spring/strut)

New muffler



Thanks for any info. I would just call and ask the dealer but I wondered if anybody had experience with this.

I've been told by previous companies that you can do ANY thing you want to do... and it will not void your warranty... UNLESS they can even remotely trace back your issue to something you have done yourself. ie: If you lift your truck and blow your suspension, they are going to void it.

Out of what you listed, these to me are safe (again imo, it only matters what your warranty dept thinks):

Removing resonator
Swapping the cold air intake
Opening the headlight housings to paint the bezel
New muffler

Not so safe:

Adding a jet chip (changes factory maps, would most likely void any engine and transmission claims... but can easily be removed)
Wheel spacers
Adding a lift ( spacer or spring/strut)

this is a question best answered by your servicing dealership.
