So there is about a 40 dollar difference give or take the vendor u buy from. What's the difference? I heard sound clips of both all on 3.7l jeep vehicles. Kinda dig the thrush but if there is some limited lifetime to the thrush due to price then I'll reconsider. |

I have a Flowmaster 40 on my 3.7L. To me it sounds better then the 44. If you have a cell phone if you want to pm me with your number and ill send you sound clips of mine. |

No complaints about my Thrush welded so far. Love the tone (no resonator) and not annoying at highway speeds with drone. No signs of rust or anything too. I don't know why they are so inexpensive compared to flowmaster. |

I also have flowmaster 40 series. i like it, but its loudest tone is at an RPM which I find myself wanting to cruise at on roads around town that are like 25-40 mph. I don't know if its considered a drone or not, but it happens right between 1500 and 1700 rpm. If i'm bumpin tunes like I usually do when I'm by myself or with friends i don't even hear it, but when I'm driving with my mom or family with the radio turned down or off, it can be annoying. do you get the same thing mag03kj? |

To me not at all. I had somebody ride over on the side in the back where the muffler is and they said that it wasnt to loud or that it didnt bother then. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z19ua-dXNjM here's a video of my super 44 w/o the resonator on idle. imo, it sounds pretty agressive on idle and in low rpms... but once you get on it, it will sounds kinda ricey. way better than the stock exhaust though. |

For what it's worth, I have none of those. Mine is a Flo-Pro chambered design similar to the Flowmaster. If you don't want anything too loud, I highly recommend it. I can tell you first hand that it's not as loud as either of the ones mentioned and it provides just as much free-flowing ability. It's loud enough to hear it but not ever loud enough to create a nuisance, even when it's quiet in side the vehicle (with your mom-so to speak). It has a nice deep tone and it sounds great when you put your right foot in it. Oh, and there is NEVER a drone. Unfortunately, I don't have the part# or a video but if you are interested, I could make one this weekend. PS: I still have my resonator on. |

I don't know anything about these things other than I want an aftermarket muffler so input on other brands is great. Vid or sound clips always preferred especially when it's on another jeep and not somebody's v8 truck with the dual exhausts and all that. I know u said no part # but do u have any idea which model it is? Went to their site and they have close to 10 different models. Thanks |

The guy at my local shop recommended a Flowmaster Super 50 to me. Has anyone put this on their truck? I'd like something that's not as lound as a Super 44, but still has a nice sound. I've seen some youtube videos of someone with it on their Rav4 and I think it sounded pretty good. |
