Trying to choose if I want to install Vent Visor window vents to our KK. Anyone have a photo or two you could share of your KK with vent visors installed.
FWIW, I did start at the photo post forum, but did not have any luck. Internet photos have been of no help.
Thank you for your assistance,

From Google Images:

Normal Style (which looks better in my opinion because it covers the rear quarter window in the doors)

In-Channel type:

I had read somewhere that the in channel visors on the rear corner of the rear windows would tend to pull out of the channel when lowering the window.

AVS or Weathertec are good... whatever you do... go with the IN CHANNEL ones.

cleaner look, much less prone to failure or leaks. I got mine from Autoanything.com if you can find ANY advertised price online for less than what they have it advertised for, they'll beat it by 10%... i found a closeout sale online and sent the guy the link and they beat it for me. had them delivered to my office less than a week later... installed that same day in about 10 mins... <3 them.

this only happens to people who do not thouroughly clean inside the channel with an alchohol swab. the reason is because the window channel has little pieces of fiberous material that rubs off of the channel molding whenever you roll up the window... you need to get AS MUCH OF THAT OUT AS POSSIBLE before installing the visors or else it will create a barrier between the window channel and the 3M tape that sticks them to the inside... kinda like trying to stick a piece of tape to your scalp with your hair getting in the way.

i bought a tiny bottle of rubbing alchohol and just dabbed some on a paper towel for some extra cleaning before i installed mine... sticks just fine

on most vehicles I agree that the in-channel versions look cleaner but I don't think so on the KK/KJ. They look odd to me because they don't cover the entire window on the rear doors...

I have the AVS-194964 the in channel smoke ones. Not a single issue with leaks or corners coming off,
Install is quick and easy just have to prep the window channel well.
Image
Clean look compared to the other style only down side is the edge that is exposed is kind
of sharp!! I just used some 400 grit sand paper to smooth out the edge.
Image
As you can see this is the only spot that is not in the channel.

Thanks for all the feedback, suggestions and photos. There was one photo that was great at showing the difference between the in channel and the more exposed version.

OK, here is a photo of what I went with for vent visors. After looking at all the in channel photos, they just blended in too well for what I wanted. I like the rear visor to cover the entire window, and the peel and stick visors make more of a statement with their over all size.
