Hey guys

Well I lost about $450 that I was gonna use for my lift kit and was wondering what issues I would run into if I installed the JBA 2.5 without the UCAs. My main concern is getting it aligned without them. Thoughts?

Should be fine without them depending on tire size.

Okay, good. I was going to test fit 265/70/16 but more than likely I'll go with 245/75/16. Would the 265s cause problems with the alignment? I understand I will have to do some modification to my wheel wells to fit that wide of a tire.

Thanks

the tire size is not the issue. what the upper control arms do is fix the angle of your suspension. this makes alignments easier and more accurate, which in return will mean less wear on other parts.

Ya, I figured that would be the case. I will get the UCAs as soon as I can but it may be a few months. I just want to make sure it is even possible to get it aligned without them.... I hate trying to do mods half a@& :?...

Thanks for your help guys

installing the arms will involve basically "re installing your lift". After you add the arms you will need a alignment again, but this time it should be a little bit better than the first. then after about 1500 miles or so I would suggest another after everything is settled.

The only way I learn is sticking my paw in the fire... I contend though, I am not stupid.
