I saw a few threads asking about stock offroadin with a KK and figured I'd post some pics that I took today. My KK is completely stock and I was able to get up a 120 ft sand dune. (Thing was more like a mountain) Took 3 tries though haha :JEEPIN: Any1 else got any cool stock off road pix to share?

My buddy took this with his cell phone. I thought it came out nice. Hes got that Ford Ranger behind me. This is atop that massive sand dune.

This is taken from a different hill while we were in a valley.

Is that in RI? I went to URI and never heard of anything like that. Didn't own the jeep then but had some friends with Rubis

Great pics too! And people say you can't wheel a libby.... :JEEPIN:

Nice :) I'm going out to a park tomorrow for my first time. Still completely stock, but from talking to people who've gone there, lots of people are able to take on the easy trails in stuff as small as a subaru outback. Just wanting to get my feet wet while I'm waiting to save up for my upgrades.

So funny story. I was there (same vicinity division rd but not the sand dunes) and a local ups driver warned me that it was highly dangerous to be there and EPA regularly patrols the area. He also went on to say that he has seen numerous 4x4s, quads, and bikes towed out of there, no warning just ticketed and towed. Just trying to give you a heads up not to sure how true it is or not. If you're local and you want to check out some stock friendly trails PM me and I'd be glad to show you around. Not much legal wheeling in the area but there are a few spots.

I was afraid of the EPA as well around there. My friend was the one who first decided to just go for it. So far I've yet to see any EPA even remotely around the area. There are at most 3 EPA officers patrolling the entire state at any one given time, which I thought was weird. My other friend works for the EPA told me that. I've been really cautious about EPA trucks though. The last time we went there the RI National Guard was in there doing land nav training and they didn't care at all we were in there. They were joking around with us the whole time. Its a fun spot, but we use it very cautiously. I'm in the process of getting a lift and new tires, once I finish em I'd love to try out some new spots. :)
