I'm running a Flowmaster Delta 50 without a resonator. I was looking for a muffler that would be quieter than a Super 44, but louder than stock. I've been pretty happy with the muffler so far. It has a nice low rumble at idle, it's pretty quiet at idle but it sounds better than stock. It has a nice growl under acceleration and no highway drone that I can hear over my sky slider and tires. The only problem is that it's a little too large for the space where the stock muffler fits. The shop had to mount it at a slight angle. I'm a little concerned about how it will work for wheeling, as one side is lower than the other. It doesn't hang down more than a few centimeters though (I'll get a picture tomorrow). I had some issues with it vibrating against the frame too. They solved the problem by adding another hanger. Here's a link to a crappy video of my exhaust. You'll get the idea of the sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb8L52rdwj8 |
