I havent lifted my liberty yet and was wondering if i could fit 245/75 R16 tires until i lift it. So that would be about two weeks with those tires. I don't plan on wheelin it until after the lift. Would this work out or will there be dire consequences.

P.S. I've been posting a lot lately and you guys have been a big help thanks everyone on the forum :D

From what I've seen on the other posts, the largest tire that will fit without ANY rub is 245/70 R16. That bring said, you'll have some rub until you get the lift. I would try to minimize the time between tires and lift or just get the 245/70 R16.

Another thing to take into consideration is the speedometer offset into consideration. Using a 245/70 R16 your speedo will read 60mph when you're really going about 60.5mph (assuming its stock calibrated for the 225/75 R16).

For the tire you want, its going to read 60 when you're going 62.5. I know it's minimal, but its something else to pay for to get adjusted or an annoyance to adjust in your head constantly.

Hope that helps.
