Hey all,

I and others in Oz have been on ARB's back about the lack of a steel bar for the KK. I've been watching this forum for over a year with interest about the talk of a custom steel bar - but nothing seems to be happening fast.

ARB keep telling us there is no "perceived interest" especially in the US (where the market is much bigger).

Us KK owners need to let them know there is interest and keep harassing them until they listen and get the ball rolling with developing a bar.

Im not going to give up harassing them and trying to build support until I have a bar on my KK

I hope everyone joins in, try's to build the support and shows that there is interest.

They have already stopped making the KJ ARB's and since the KK is on it's last year good luck,your going to need it.

I was in contact with ARB both stateside and in Australia. The answer was that it was being considered for early 2012 and to check back later. I waited till close to the end of 2011 and contacted them again. The response was to look elsewhere or have one custom made. They aren't going to do it so if you truley want a bumper, I think it's time to support a fabricator. Remember, sometimes a custom fab turns into a product line if there's enough interest. I'm pretty sure if you're close enough to detours and can live without your jeep for a little while, they can make a pretty nice one. The backbone is already half way there and they have skills.
